Gary Tang

CEO & Founder

Mr. Tang and his education group serve over ten thousand students annually. He is the founding chairperson of HKAEEP, the leading professional body of extramural education with more than 300 organisational members in Hong Kong. Mr. Tang is now pursuing his doctoral degree at the Education University of Hong Kong. Mr. Tang devotes himself to education in GBA.

Mr  Chén Shàojiā

Mr. Chen graduated from a prestigious traditional school in Hong Kong. He achieved outstanding results in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) examinations, with 5** in English, 5* in Chinese, 5* in Mathematics, 5** in Biology, 5** in Chemistry, and 5** in Physics. Additionally, he obtained a score of 8.0 in the IELTS examination, demonstrating his exceptional test-taking skills. With his expertise in exam strategies and answer techniques, Mr. Chen is capable of effectively teaching students the skills and strategies required to excel in exams, helping them achieve excellent grades. His students have consistently achieved remarkable results in public examinations, with one class even producing multiple students who obtained 5** grades, setting a new benchmark in the industry

Mr Kyle Yeung

Mr. Yeung is a registered professional teacher in Hong Kong, well-versed in the Hong Kong DSE high school curriculum and the local and international pathways for further education. He leads the group in actively developing a data-driven assessment mechanism, providing clear and widely applicable learning data for schools in Hong Kong. Currently, Mr. Yang and his team are working on developing new assessment modules to advance educational development in the Great Bay Area.

School Development Mnaager
Mr Rex Chu

  • Registered Teacher, Education Bureau, Government of HKSAR

Mr. Chu has dedicated over a decade to education in Hong Kong. With dual master's degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he has successfully nurtured numerous students over the years. Not only is he well-versed in school affairs in Hong Kong, but his graduates have also gained admission to the eight major universities. Currently, he leads his colleagues in researching the development of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) and guiding new thinking and directions for future educational development.

Principal Lai Chu-Kuen is a member of New Hope’s advisory board, overseeing our DSE curriculum design and implementation scope of service. Principal Lai is a mathematician and an educator. He served in the Education Bureau and the Examination Authority of Hong Kong for over twenty years. He thus has a deep understanding of the evolution of Hong Kong’s public exam system over the past decades and extraordinary prospect insights.

 

Mr. Lai had held principalships at two secondary schools in Hong Kong. In his capacities as headmaster, he had been working at the forefront of the DSE curricula, helping students prepare for the exams and strive for excellence.
